I was excited to go to the gym today. However, once I got there and started moving I was sore and tired. I just didn't have the get up and give it shit. Now that I am home feeling a little like I had sand in my ovaries.

Knee is tender today from the box jumps yesterday. So maybe a slow day today is a good idea.

  1. This is a solid WOD. I was just thinking about doing more high pulls (both clean and snatch grip) and less deadlifting. Then, I see you doing the same thing. How were the high pulls? What about the squats? high bar, low bar?

    I think today was the first day of the rest of your life. I hope it went well, again congratulations!

  2. I know less bitching and more lifting.

    The high pulls felt fine. I like the lift because it is fast and aggressive.
    Squats seem to start as low bar but then I shift it up to a high bar position.

    Job is going well. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I think I will like it there.
