Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you've got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

Not a WOD Post

Just read this and got to thinking. Sounds like us. (BrandX Message Board)

This may sound rude, but I have to be honest. I took my teenage son and some of his buddies to see "300" last week. On the way home, they were talking about how impressive the actors' physiques were: cut, fit, they mentioned 12-pack abs. My comment to them was, I'm not impressed by someone who has a personal trainer barking at them and a personal chef cooking for them and gets paid to work hard and can write off said expenses. What impresses me is the guy or gal who goes to work all day or cares for kids and a home all day and then shows up at the gym, tired from the stress and demands of the day, and still kicks the crap out of workouts like these. Our men & women do workouts like these all the time-all year long, not for a brief period of time to facilitate a huge salary and media attention. Our men & women do it because they should, because they can, and because they can't help but do it. It becomes part of who they are.

CrossFit Convert

Have another one who would like to adopt CF as a workout style.

Worked out with Tim and Aisha McPhee today it was a fun although hot WOD.

Was a wierd Workout. Just wanted to burn some steam so kept going. It was wierd though. After tabata squats I had a PR on row even though my legs were on fire but only 7 HSPUs. I can do a lot more then that. Oh well.

Angie with Weighted Vest (15lbs)

Worked out today at the school where Murph is gonna be. I think it will be a great location. The pull ups bars are a little thick but nothing a crossfitter can't handle. So pumped for this workout!

BW Bench Press and Row

Weighed myself last night at the gym and it was a surprise. 168lbs. I started this game at 196lbs on Jan 10 2007. So I think that it is working. Just have to get my sleep and H2O and tune my eating and it should all come together.
